Self-Trimming Trees – Santee, CA

First let us say, that unlike last year when a neighboring tree's branches did major damage to the RV it hit, these branches, while scarping the rig, did not do major damage.

The pictures below are of a tree that is in the site immediately South of a site that we occupied for a number of winters. But luckily not when the following happened: First one of the branches slowly bent down and off the tree.

Then a few days later a second branch on the other side of the tree also broke off (picture 2).

Finally the grounds crew came by to recover as much of the tree as possible and this lollipop kinda of shape is what’s left behind.
